Weebly Website Hosting Plans

Step 1: Create an account at Weebly.com. Start with the FREE plan. Choose a free Weebly domain extension, e.g., YourSite.Weebly.com. DO NOT BUY A DOMAIN FROM WEEBLY.
Step 2: Choose a free Weebly template. Please choose the "Acquire" template as it offers me the most flexibility and built-in features of all available responsive Weebly templates.
Step 3: Choose Edit [Site] from your dashboard. Then choose "Settings" from the top level menu. Then, on the left side of the page, choose Editors. Add my email address as an Editor at the Administrator level. The site will send me an invitation email that will allow me to access your account for editing purposes. Your account and billing information is hidden from Editors, so security is built-in.
At this point I will send you an invoice for 1/2 payment of my design services.
Step 4: Once I start building your website, I recommend we publish the site to the free domain that Weebly provides first; e.g., YourSite.Weebly.com. It allows us both to view the site on internet, while still in the design phase. It's the only way to preview the site on the internet before go-live. Go-live means publishing your site live to a paid Weebly Plan with your domain;, e.g., YourSite@YourSite.com.
Tip: Be sure to pick a free domain that can be the same as a paid domain; e.g., YourSite.Weebly.com as the free domain. Then, if you choose to buy a domain from Hover, you can buy, e.g., YourSite.com. It makes upgrading from your free Weebly plan easy. Be sure to check Hover to ensure the paid domain you would want to forward to your free or paid Weebly website is available.
Step 5: Purchase a paid Weebly Plan (or keep your free Weebly Hosting Plan and we can forward your paid domain to your free Weebly website) so we can set up your Hover or other domain you own and point it to your new site on Weebly. I will then finish the design of your website footer, which is only possible when a paid plan is purchased. Once you like the site design, you can publish it live to the internet. My job is not done.
At this point I will send you an invoice for the 2/2 payment for my design services.
I provide unlimited website updates during the design phase and for 30-days post go-live, to ensure that everything is working properly and the design and content make you happy. Then, at that point, my job is done, unless you decide to hire me to make updates to your site. See my Technical Consulting webpage for details.
