Deciding on a web designer is not easy; you have thousands of choices, but it's a jungle out there. I have put together some of my most asked questions to assist you in your decision making process. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me with questions not addressed on this page.
Why should i choose Gary Martin Web design for my new website?
I do not pretend to know it all, however, I do know the Weebly platform, and I know how to save my clients money, not only on the design phase, but ongoing in savings for hosting, etc. My experience will be readily apparent as we begin working together. Knowledge is everything.
Why use the Weebly Platform?
There are newer and more flashy platforms out there, however, non can compete with FREE. Weebly offers a scalable platform that can grow as your endeavor grows. Why pay more up front? I can show you how to scale into Weebly to conserve cash while you are getting started in your endeavor. With a few choice apps (one time purchases from the Weebly App Store), we can make your website stand out from the crowd.
Can we meet in person to discuss my website design?
Absolutely. However, unless you are in NE Florida, it would not be cost effective for you to pay my travel expenses to meet in person. We can do that, but with technology, we can accomplish your goals via Zoom and screen sharing. I offer a 45-minute free consultation via Zoom or telephone to discuss your project. How much does it cost for you to design my website?
I change $198 for most websites. The cost is split in two payments. Half up front and half at go-live. I accept payments with Zelle. You can send payment from your banking app. I am at the point in my life where I am able to give back by offering my services at a very low price. I have charged anywhere from $798 to $2,400 for my design services.
Do you offer any discounts?
Yes, I offer a 50% discount to 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations on website maintenance (technical consulting). 
What forms of payment do you accept?
I accept cash, checks, and Zelle (your local bank account has Zelle available - just activate it and you are ready to make or receive payments).
How long does it take for you to design my website?
I have designed websites in a day, and others take up to a month to finish. It all depends upon the ready availability of the text, photos, and other design elements for your site. It should take no longer than 30-days to design and publish your site. I can work as fast as you can send me the content and make decisions. I'm pretty easy to work with.
What if i don't like the design of my site?
I continually make changes to your site as it is being developed based upon your feedback. I include unlimited design modifications during the design phase and for 30-days after your site is published live to the internet.
Can you manage my site for me after it is published live to the internet?
​I offer technical consulting on published Weebly websites. If you have a Weebly website that is live on a free or paid Weebly plan, you can hire me by the hour to do edits and page updates. See my Editor webpage to learn how to add me as an Editor of your Weebly account.

After adding me as an editor for your Weebly website, you can send content to me and I will make the updated to your website for you. When you are just starting out, you may or may not be too busy to maintain your own website. I only invoice for work that you request. I do not charge a retainer fee. Do you offer any marketing services?
I can help with marketing via free Google Business Listing, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) via free Google Search Console, and On-page SEO via Weebly site builder. Visit my Consulting web page for details and pricing.
I already have a weebly website. Can you do maintenance on my published Weebly website?
Yes, of course. If you make me an editor, I can update your website for you as needed. Visit my Editor and Consulting web pages for more information. Use my contact page to request technical consulting. Once you're a client, I will provide a phone number to call for technical consulting.
I just have a question. Do you charge consulting fees to answer questions?
I am happy to answer technical questions. Use my contact web page and I'll get back to you with an answer within 24-hours. No charge.
What is your service Area?
I do design work on Amelia Island, and in Fernandina Beach, Jacksonville, St. Mary's, Yulee, and nationwide. We can meet in person within a 30-mile radius of Fernandina Beach, FL, or we can meet via Zoom nationwide. I offer a free 45-minute consultation to discuss your website design project. Can you design a site for our wedding, our family reunion?
Absolutely. I can design a private site so you can invite users to join your site with a password (Weebly paid plans required), or I can design a free site that is public. Contact me to discuss your options and how you can keep your hosting cost free or as close to free as possible.
